[00098, 00156] The user and admin session tokens are now stored in
the web browser
sessionStorage instead of in cookies.
The implications of this are:
You can now log in with different user accounts in different tabs/windows, where before you could only be logged in with one account in the same web browser at the same time – logging in with a second account would log out the first one. Conversely, you now have to log in with your account in each tab/window where you use KnowAssist.
On the user home page, there is now the option to logout "here" (the current tab/window) or "everywhere" (all tabs, windows and devices where you are logged in).
This change makes it much easier to test and demo the multi-user capabilities of KnowAssist. Since KnowAssist is made to be highly usable within a single tab/window, we think the benefits greatly outweighs the drawbacks.
Where user descriptions are displayed, they now show as "–" if no description has been set.
In the document panes in the Omniview, the button on the top right, which is used to assign the currently viewed document to a different pane, will now show as inactive (greyed out) when no document is being viewed. A hint has also been added that is shown when hovering the button.
On the folders page, the list of users would overflow beyond the application frame when the number of users grew large enough.
When attempting to register a new account and the combination of display name and description already matched an existing user, you would not be notified of that fact. Submitting the form appeared to do nothing in this case.
