[00011, 00074, 00079, 00080, 00081, 00083, 00093] The Omniview sessions menu has been much improved! There is an accompanying tutorial in the documentation.
An indicator will now show whether a session is locked or not and whether the current window has that lock. These three lock states are indicated by:
A red dot, meaning the session is locked by another window. The session can still be loaded, but no changes made from the window that does not have the lock will be saved to the session.
A green dot, meaning the session is not locked. Attempting to load the session will result in the current window getting a lock on it.
A blue dot, meaning the current window has the lock on the session.
The button to save the contents of the current session to another session has been removed. This is to prevent an accident where you overwrite a session.
There are other minor changes that make the Omniview sessions menu a better user experience, that you will start noticing when you use it. Using different sessions across multiple devices or windows/tabs is now much more pleasant.
The link to exit the administration mode now says 'Back' instead of 'User login'.
The list of folders on the Folders page are now listed in alphabetical order. This also applies to the list of folders that the user can toggle to be included in the search results in the Omniview.
In the keyboard shortcuts map, the shortcut for toggling a hidden document pane was moved from the General section to the Global section.
When attempting to view a document in the preview pane or document pane, and that document was already being viewed there, the vertical scroll value of the document text would be reset. The new behavior is to keep the vertical scroll value, when the same document is going to be viewed. Viewing the same document will still fetch fresh data from the server.
The keymap overlay now has a header that says 'Keymap'.
The document pane number can now be seen in the top right.
Fixed an issue where the vertical scroll for the search results was reset when the user created a new document.
Fixed an issue where when you enter the Omniview and the previewed document was in the search results, that search result would not be highlighted. This also occurred when loading a different session the first time after entering the Omniview.
Fixed a keyboard shortcut collision where the shortcut to open the document print view was overridden by the use of the same key to scroll up in the document view.
Fixed an issue where the window/tab would not release the lock on an Omniview session when navigating away from the Omniview or closing the window/tab. The result was that another window/tab opening the same Omniview session could not save to it.
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to assign a document to a pane upon entering the Omniview and the pane in question did not already have a document assigned to it.
Fixed an issue in the Omniview where cancelling a merge would leave the document pane in an unusable state.
